Fibroblast Treatment – The Instant Non-surgical Eye Lift 2017-12-04T20:09:53+00:00

Fibroblast is a revolutionary non-surgical facelift procedure that delivers instant results. It tightens and shrinks excess skin, bags and wrinkles. It’s effects smooth and tighten the skin and the treatment is particularly effective for dramatically reducing hooded eyelids. The treatment works by utilising the fourth state of matter known as plasma. Hence why the treatment is also sometimes referred to as the Plasma Blast treatment.

The treatment device works by ionising gases present in the air to form plasma. As the gasses are ionised, a small electrical arc/plasma flash is delivered to the skin in a micro-millimetre sized point. A series of of these plasma flashes are strategically delivered to the area of concern leaving small brown spots. This causes the tissue to retract and tighten instantly and delivers results that are comparable to those seen with more invasive cosmetic procedures. No needles or scalpels are required however, a strong numbing cream containing a general anaesthetic is used for your complete comfort during the procedure.

None of our clients consider the treatment to be painful due to the fact that numbing cream is applied prior to treatment. The cream we use is called NoPain®. It is an anesthetic based numbing cream that’s considered to the most powerful and effective numbing cream ever made.

Immediately after your Fibroblast Treatment, you will experience a mild stingy, burning sensation similar to the sensation you feel after having a tattoo. This will usually resolve during the remainder of the day although if it is particularly uncomfortable or persists for a longer period, then an anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen can be taken.
Following treatment, it is normal to have some swelling. This can be significant around the eyes and can last for several days and may lead to interference with vision in the initial period. A cold compresses may be applied to reduce the swelling and redness. If the swelling is more severe, an anti-inflammatory medication and/or anti-histamine may help alleviate the swelling. Crusting will usually develop over the treated area, this will often initially be brown or black on the surface of the skin and flake off over the following days. It may take over 2 weeks to completely disappear. It is essential to not pick at this crusting as this may lead to infection or scarring.
Occasionally, the treated area may become a little weepy, this is part of the normal healing process and will improve with time. However, if it starts to become hot or red or if there is any pus present, then please contact the clinic for advice as this may suggest an infection has developed. It is essential to keep the treatment area clean, dry and protected with a broad spectrum sunscreen. Do not use alcohol based cleansers.
